  • Upon completing the 144-hour AAPT Boston program, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion that reflects your full participation in our educational course. You'll also graduate with in-gym experience, hands-on coaching skills, and a strong foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, program design, and client communication — everything you need to feel confident and capable in the fitness industry.

  • Great question! Our program helps you build real-world experience and understanding before sitting for your certification exam. Many students use AAPT as a launchpad — they learn how to coach on the gym floor, gain practical knowledge, and feel confident applying what they’ve studied when it’s time to take the ACE CPT or any other accredited exam.

  • Absolutely. If you’ve already passed your exam but feel unsure about coaching in person, cueing clients, designing programs, or building confidence on the gym floor, this program is a perfect next step. You’ll get the practical, hands-on experience most certifications don’t provide.

  • Your AAPT Boston tuition includes everything you need to succeed during and after the program, including:

    • ACE CPT Exam Voucher (Nationally Accredited Certification)

    • CPR/AED Certification (Required for CPT exam eligibility)

    • ACE CPT Textbook + Study Materials

    • AAPT Workbook & Course Materials

    • In-person instruction & mentorship from experienced educators

    • Use of our training facility for practice and labs

    • Certificate of Completion upon graduation

  • Yes! If you’ve already purchased your ACE CPT exam, textbook, and hold a valid CPR certification, you’re eligible for a discounted tuition rate of $5,500.

    Just let us know during the enrollment process, and we’ll walk you through how to apply the adjusted rate.

  • There are no prerequisites! You just need a willingness to learn, show up, and engage. We welcome students from all backgrounds — whether you’re brand new to fitness or already certified and looking to grow. Once you tour, we’ll walk you through the next steps to get started.

  • No — AAPT Boston is a private educational provider, not a licensed career school. While we are not licensed by the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL), our goal is to provide a high-quality, skills-based education that prepares you for a successful career in fitness. We do not offer state-recognized diplomas or certifications, and we do not guarantee job placement.

  • Yes — the AAPT Boston experience is fully in-person. Our strength is in teaching you how to coach real people in real time, with experienced instructors and mentorship. In-person training ensures you get feedback, refine your technique, and leave ready to train confidently in any setting.
